MONJORONSON: Good morning, this is Monjoronson.
(Group greetings.)
MONJORONSON: I first want to personally thank those individuals who are translating the messages from myself and other teachers into the various languages. We now have translators for German, French and Spanish and we are very grateful for this. Know that you have beside you an assistant translator to assist you in this process; you are not alone. And as you experience the translation of these texts, you are, at the same time, incorporating these lessons, messages, wisdoms, insights and “Ah-ha’s” into your own mind and your maturity, wisdom and the development of your personality. So give thanks that you are translators, as we thank you for what you do.
Today I wish to speak about the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse, as it has been called. This comes from the “Revelations of John,” in the New Testament. These were familiar topics to writers long before John wrote about them. They were common knowledge among those who were philosophers, educators, and those who had time to reflect and think about the larger course of the world that they lived in, and the civilization that they knew. There were four inevitabilities that seemed to persist throughout the ages, decades and millennia, in all civilizations before these thoughts were written down. Those were that war and conflict seemed to be persistent, continuous and endemic in all cultures of the world, and that they bring death and the diversion of resources from a nation’s positive constructive growth and its sustainability to the devastation of those populations involved in the conflict.
The fact that John mentioned them as a part of the apocalyptical revelation does not diminish the fact that they existed beforehand. You are also aware that war has been persistent, continuous and endemic to the cultures of your world since the writing of Revelation. You live in an ongoing apocalyptic era; this is common knowledge to us. You have put the apocalypse as something occurring at a future date, but my friends, you are living through the apocalypse now. When he wrote about war, as one of the four horsemen, he did not necessarily mean that it would be continually present in all cultures, in all places, in all spots and locales of the world, that this was something that would typify an era of great change in your world, and so it does even now.
Yet, within many nations, there is peace, there is stability, there is tranquility, even. The point of discussing war is that you are very familiar with it; it is something that is, unfortunately, inculcated in your world’s culture; it is a part of your genetic code; it is part of the global consciousness of humanity, and it will take decades and centuries to cleanse the racial memory from your bodies, those of your progeny and from the planetary mind of humanity of this world. We are not saying “get used to it, it is here”—far from it—and I will speak more about that at the end after I have discussed the other horsemen.
Pestilence has always been a part of the human population’s problems. It has been a scourge at times, and at others it is just affecting the individual, but until the advent of the 20th Century, and the incredible cures and medications that act against pestilence, it was endemic, continuous and worldwide through all the existence of humanity. It too, is a remnant of the malfeasance of office of the Planetary Prince and others. Their behavior, their actions are inexcusable, and they have chosen to bring their existence to termination, rather than continue to be faced with the errors of their thinking, which has affected billions and billions of people on your planet.
As we have said before, the medical marvels of the 20th Century have only delayed the severity of the eventual scourge of pestilence upon your planet, which will affect your planet’s population. I say these things—and when I say “I,” I mean myself and my team, who reveal these things to you—I do not present these things to scare the wits out of you, for there would be no product or benefit from doing so. Just as with war, you are fully acquainted with pestilence, as it has affected some populations of your global species. There are some infections and viruses that are very frightening, which cause tremendous disintegration of your bodies, that have come to the presence of your various national centers for disease control, and your international bodies as well. They have done well to suppress the expansion of these outbreaks.
The factor of war and pestilence will be one of several contributing factors to the great difficulties of your populations in the near future. Those of you who have diligently read these sessions, know these things already—this is not news to you—and there is some news to provide to you, which we have done before, but we wish to reiterate again, and I will save that towards the last, as well.
The Third Horseman of the Apocalypse is famine. This, too, is not specifically designated as a part of the apocalypse, which John specified, but has always been an aspect of human existence, throughout history of your species. Famine has always been a factor for cultures that have outgrown their base and provisions of food sources. In a world that is connected internationally, local famines have less and less effect, as those nations which produce abundance and a surplus, share their wealth, their surpluses with those who have little. Of course, this is at the will and whim of those who have the means to do so, but in a global equation, in a planetary management sort of situation, the world population is sustainable when the excesses or surpluses are shared with those who have less. This overcomes the local problems of local famines that come about through plant disease, drought, storms, floods, and so on.
This generation, or within the last fifty years or more, is very well acquainted with famine as the world news organizations have provided greater coverage of news about those areas in famine. Many of you—younger ones will not recall—but older ones of you will recall the famines in India that occurred during the 1950’s and 60’s, which was thwarted or overturned by the “green revolution” of pesticides and fertilizers. Yet you are currently seeing the limits and the damages that have been brought into existence by excessive use of fertilizers and of pesticides. You are seeing the end plays possible through these agricultural additions. There are fewer further benefits available to the global population for expanding global grain production, produce production, in the same manner that was experienced in the 70’s and 80’s. You will, in fact, be seeing reversals of that trend, as the detrimental effects of fertilizers and pesticides begin to take place. What we are saying here is that users of those agricultural additives have not done so in a means that would sustain the levels that they had earlier experienced. They have not used them in a wise manner to counteract early on the deficiencies or detrimental aspects of those additives.
Of all the Horsemen here, war and famine are your most contemporary horsemen—you are well familiar with them. You are living with this apocalypse now. Were you frightened yesterday about these horsemen prancing around your world? Most of you who are reading this will say, “No, it was not a factor in our community, or our family, or our society. It usually takes place somewhere else.” So you have gotten used to these difficulties; you have become numbed by their presence. Even in highly technological nations, the traffic deaths that your countries bear have become just another statistic to you; until it affects you personally, where your family member or neighbor has been killed in an automobile accident, then you take it quite personally. Otherwise, the thousands of people who are killed on your highways do not seem to have much effect upon you. I am not saying this to diminish your caring, or your heart-centered sympathies for those around the world—not at all—I am saying this to bring you in the present moment to become aware that you are living in the apocalypse. This is not something that is going to happen at 11:59 on December 21, 2012; it is occurring now, my friends.
I am grasping for metaphors to show you how the cincture, the knot of sustainability and survivability is getting tighter around the neck of your civilization, as it exists of seven billion people on this small world. As I say, I struggle for appropriate metaphors so you can thoroughly understand the slow, progressive throttling that your global civilization is now experiencing. When I say, “throttling,” I truly mean that; it is a slow, cutting back of velocity of progress of your world as a whole civilization. Yes, technology, economies do try to race ahead and manipulate the environments in which they exist, so there can be continued growth, but as a global civilization, the degree of progress as a civilization is slowing and will begin to sink.
Now, the Fourth Horseman, Death, is a natural expectation of life, just as new individuals are born into existence here on your planet, so too those flash out of existence as material beings on this planet. Death is a natural experience of life; it is a termination of this embryonic caterpillar existence, before you completely change into the butterfly of morontial existence. For some of you, death holds no mysteries; for some of you, you are not surprised at death, you are not disturbed by it, but you accept it as a part of life termination, as a part of life’s existence, and that you delay its occurring appropriately, to the extent that you can have a meaningful life, a fruitful life, a life of quality.
Death for many of you, who are gravely ill, for those who are in and out of the phases of Alzheimer’s, it is something that you wish to embrace. Death for those who are in the rapid pace of life and living is something to be avoided and not even thought of, so it is shocking to those of you in this phase of life and living, which is so enjoyable and so exciting and so fulfilling to your ego and to your personal embellishment, that you wish to hold it at arms length, in abeyance, as long as you can. Yet, death is part of the flow of life; it is a natural outcome of living; it is something that occurs.
Many of you are dismayed by the possibility of a serious decimation of the global human species. You think, “Such a waste!” You are actually speaking about yourself, and now it is time to flip into the other part of my discourse, and that has to do with engaging a meaningful life, while you are here. And as we have said, when there is this decimation—and it will not occur suddenly, but it will creep up on you and many others who read this—and [those] who are not reading this—in ways which you do not suspect. You will read it in the papers and yawn, never thinking that within weeks and months it will be at your doorstep, quite literally, or in your community, and have an effect upon you. We were telling you to begin to live a life of quality, by choosing to live in the flow of life, rather than restraining the changes that are impinging upon you, to engage these changes constructively, and particularly thoughtfully and consciously, so that you can consciously choose your future. Let us pause there for a moment for that to sink in.
Many of you have victim mentalities. Yes, you will become victims if you have not consciously, intentionally, engaged the decisions and points of change in your life, thoughtfully. For those of you who are developing conscious awareness of living, in this moment, then this message will be one of heartening joy for you, and that is that you can truly make a difference in the course of your life. Now the parable or the metaphor of the man in the flood is not far from the truth of what will affect many people. In this contemporary parable the man would not leave his flooded home when a rescuer in a boat came by, saying that “God would provide.” He also turned away the helicopter for the same reason. Later the man stood on his rooftop and cursed God for not saving him, and God replied, “I sent you a boat and a helicopter!” When you say, “I cannot give up my house; I cannot give up my job; I cannot give up my car; I cannot give up my way of life,” you are consciously choosing to participate in what will occur in your life.
Now some of you—perhaps new believers—will damn God when this occurs. You may say, “Why, God, have you brought this to my doorstep?” And we would admonish you and remind you, that you were warned. You were bluntly told that there will be forces of change impinging upon your life. Recognize these, my friends, do not laugh them away. Some of these are small changes in your life; some of these decisions you make surround small events and domains that you can control in your life. And here is where your ego gets in the way, when you think that you have control of bigger things, as well. There are many events in your life which you have absolutely no control over, but you do have control over your personal life. You will not have much control over the blight that will affect wheat grains and wheat species around the world, yet the famines that occur in India and the other nations, which will suffer under this blight, will affect you here in this country.
Your world is interconnected. We have been teaching you, just as Gautama has been teaching you for centuries and millennia, that you are “one,” and the oneness of all includes you, includes everyone else, and as you affect the “one,” the whole, so the “one,” the whole, affects you. It is inescapable. Because of this wholeness, this oneness of interconnectedness in your world now, these are the reasons that the Correcting Time can move forward more rapidly and in a timely manner. The engagement of the co-creative processes in your world is an obligated part that follows when a world population becomes continuous, contiguous, adjoining. Whenever a world has a population that has covered all the continents, regions and locales, then the co-creative influences begin to come forward.
Now let us begin the other phase of this discourse, and that is that you do have a great deal of control over your life, energetically. I wish you to recall the short writing by Goethe, dealing with providence. It says that Providence has almost a surreal way of arranging events to occur. Now Providence is real (Providence with a capital “P”), is the mysterious part of the universe action, which even I am not fully aware of. There is something in the architecture of the universe, at the grandest scales, which coordinates the serendipity, happenstance, and synchronicity of developments, which brings about unexpected “good.”
[[Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (& creation), there is one elementary truth –the ignorance of which kills countless ideas & splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves, too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents & meetings & material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now.

And you, with your Thought Adjuster, the God presence within you, are an agent of encouraging Providence to act. You do this through your consciousness, through the intentions you hold in your mind for the flow of your life. This is where the winnowing of those who are saved and those [who] are defeated takes place. You all understand the statistical business of right place, right time—well this is providence working in action for you, for you are the one who presses the button that actuates Providence to work—not in your behalf—but on your behalf. You and this wonderful coincidence work together. If you do not hold in mind the synchronicity of your life, the flow of your life to express good, and for good to come to you, then you are deficient in bringing about right circumstance for your life.
Now, here we have spoken of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse that scared the wits out of Christians and others for centuries. And we also talked in the same breath about Providence. Providence is the over-balancing good that dominates the function of the universe. Would you like to be a part of that?
Students: Of course!
MONJORONSON: This is not a rhetorical question; this is a question that you should embrace intellectually, in your heart energy, in your emotions, your body and in your energy field! You should be a radiating light of divine order, divine timing, divine coincidence, divine serendipity in your life. When you KNOW (in capital letters) this to be so, it is so. Remember, what the son desires and the Father wills IS! When you desire divine order, divine timing, divine coincidence, divine serendipity in your life, and you live in that flow, it IS, my friends. It IS existent in your life. (And yes it may require you to give up your car payments, and have a cheaper car to drive, one that is paid for.)
So, I have brought you full circle where you are either the victim or the partner of Providence. Which do you chose? Now, you cannot escape by not making a decision, for by default you put yourself in the victim mode by doing so. And some of you will say, “Well, what about Joe Smith, next door, he doesn’t believe but everything works for him?” My friends, he lives in the flow; somehow he has been ingrained that this is how the universe works, he believes it, he accepts it, he invokes it and it is so. Believing is the other factor that leads to immortal life.
The world in the flow of things, (Providence,) can help you have a very balanced, productive life, but to have immortal life you must believe. Do you see the difference? I hope you do. Universe energy is impersonal; it is neutral; it is a wonderful tool to use for your life. When you engage Providence, you are engaging an agent of God’s existence in creation, to assist you in living the good flow of your life. Believing aids you in crossing over into an immortal life, an ascendant career.
Does the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse still hold the mystery that it had before? I hope not, for you live with these horsemen daily in your lives. Yet many of you are completely unaffected by their presence; you do not let pestilence, famine, war and death sway you in the positive aspects of living in the flow of life, and desire to live in accordance with that, for a growing life, spiritually.
Do you have questions? It is something to ponder, is it not?
Student: Yes.
MONJORONSON: Well then, ponder away and save your questions for another day. I would be glad to engage other questions, perhaps unrelated to this topic.
Student: Didn’t we have some lessons some years ago about the advisability of laying up some supplies of water and non-perishable food?
MONJORONSON: Yes, you did, and those lessons and that advice still holds true. You may simply want to rotate your stock.
Student: I see that the global warming that is causing so many glaciers to melt all over the world is going to lead to less water for huge numbers of people and land that is needed for agriculture. Tibet and China will be impacted greatly…and India. This is part of what you are telling us, isn’t it?
MONJORONSON: Yes, that is what we are talking about. I will give you an example: If you were to write down all the things that are going to change: the changing of weather, the annual floods and water flow that comes from glaciers, which feeds the low lands and farm lands therein. When those dry up, there will be a huge change for those populations. When the rust spore traverses its course around the world, to each area that grows wheat, this will have a tremendous impact on your world population. When you have a rapid moving pestilence, this will have a very prompt and immediate effect, and when you couple that with genocidal cultures, you will have a vicious cycle that will rock you to the core. It is easy to gloss over these topics in your daily life, for these are the slow moving changes that occur in your world.
Rapid change, such as floods, hurricanes, earthquakes—those are very notable—but the slow paced events that occur are the ones that will sneak up on you, and when the fast moving events occur in concurrence, then you will have serious global problems in a whole region. These are predictable; not only by us, but by you, by your glaciologists, your geographers, by your meteorological societies and bureaus, by your agriculturalists, and by your health specialists. When you combine all these, you then begin to see and appreciate what the role of a Planetary Manager is like, and how it is so necessary to bring about the spiritual upliftment of a global population that works with the spiritual realm co-creatively to bring about sustainable answers, sustainable solutions and sustainable designs for its long term survival.
When you are Christ Michael, the Creator of this local universe, you see that the natural development of events in a world provides a magnificent opportunity for bringing about conscious development of the spiritual upliftment of a planet. When you do this, you begin to appreciate Christ Michael’s living in the moment, when change is imminent on a planet. This is not much different than what occurs in your life, only Christ Michael has the perspective ahead of centuries and millennia, and of course has the historic perspective of hundreds of thousands of years. So his opportunity is contained within the Correcting Time, Teaching Mission, Magisterial Mission, Urantia Book, and many other revelations, which you are not aware of. Such an opportunity to advance the social maturity of this world with this spiritual upliftment is one which cannot be passed. I am here to assist in that process, and I give thanks for the wonderful plan that my Brother has developed and underwritten for your world, of which I can be a part.
Other questions?
Student: You haven’t mentioned much about the climate refugees that we are now hearing about. It looks as if that also is an inevitable occurrence.
MONJORONSON: Explain for the benefit of others.
Student: For example, all the people in Bangladesh, as the ocean rises, less and less land will be available for food production and even for people to live on. You’ve indicated there may be increased desertification, so this means there are millions, if not billions of people who seek to find a home in other places, and the people in those places won’t want to receive them.
MONJORONSON: Yes, you are quite right. This is one of those slow moving developments, which will exacerbate the problems that this world experiences. You will, quite literally, see wars over land, you will see the voluntary migration of millions of people into open areas that would support only a marginal population, and there will be a tremendous loss of life because of that. There is not much choice for those who live in those areas—to remain and die in the water, or to move ahead and die in the desert—for those semi-arid areas can support only a marginal population. Many of you will see this in the decade ahead, as you begin to see the developing areas of extreme weather patterns and the human suffering from them. Thank you for your question.
One last question? I thank you for the opportunity to speak with you today. I appreciate your presence here, and your diligence to remain a part of this group over the years. We wish you the best in all of your actions and decisions to engage the flow of your life, for the good of yourself, your soul, and those who are close to you.
