OSC121203- Understanding Self-forgetfulness

2012-12-03. Understanding Self-forgetfulness

Alabama, US of A, December 3, 2012.
Teacher: Thought Adjuster.
Subject: “Understanding Self-forgetfulness.”

Message received by Oscar.

Thought Adjuster: “If you decide to stop eating, you will die of starvation. Your real material needs should never be neglected and it is not expected from the children of God that you would ‘let yourselves die’. Part of your learning in this world is to learn to fend for yourself and thus become a more effective agent to extend the will of your Father throughout creation.

“Self-forgetfulness is about abandoning your material fantasies and replacing the myopic plan you have created for your life with the perfect plans the Father has for you. At times you might think that you would like to achieve something else, but when you let your Father be the one who takes care of the outcomes and you start paying attention to the opportunities that are placed in your path daily, you will begin to better grasp the divine plans and you will be able to make better-informed decisions.

“The life you live today is perfect, because it offers abundant opportunities to make your decisions in alignment with the will of the Father and therefore you will progress in spirit. Let your path be a surprise, let the Father take you by the hand. Give your best every day and strive to become increasingly better. This will inevitably bring you closer to your Father and to your true being, which will bring you the highest happiness and satisfaction to which you can aspire.

“Be patient and enjoy the present. It is today, right now, when and where you are living the experiences that will help you become the best you can be. It is now when you can make the decisions that will bring you to perfection. In truth, each second is a treasure if you take advantage of it to be closer to God, and this is only possible through the act of consecrating your will to His — choosing the path He would choose in your current situation.”
