Opening

I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. Coming here always makes me feel at home. I am at ease to speak my mind. I feel my words are heard and valued. I do study my weekly lessons and make effort to choose the right words. I do not wish my hearers to lose interest or have the impression I use my post for a stage to present my worthiness.

Lesson

From time to time I visit you each in your daily life happenings. I am always made to remember my mortal life and at times still shudder to think of human difficulties. Even now I sometimes find myself hoping that mortals could have a glimpse at the life beyond this world so that they could see real meaning and reduce pettiness or preoccupation of things temporary. Of course, this glimpse of the life ahead occurs with each step you take toward the doing of Father’s will. To act upon Father’s will to the best of your ability is to see Father’s will manifest in your life.

We can each see that the keys to the Correcting Time being successful is based on individual willingness to master the self. To have self-forgetfulness is to be thoughtful of the whole. Self-forgetfulness is turning away from ego and mistrust in a higher power–toward stepping out in faith and living what you believe to be truth, beauty and goodness. Most of your lessons in self-mastery lie within the daily dealings with your fellows.

You know already that you have a personal ministry in the Correcting Time and the more attributes of the Master you can have in your personal being–the more light you pervade out into the darkness or the material world. Our Mission duties seem to be up-stepped, for the world moves at a faster pace. It is an age of enlightenment, as well as an age of confusion. Each of you are needed to be available for ministry. As the Master taught, your best ministry is to live a life that sets an example of all that is true, beautiful and good.

Think about the Brotherhood for a moment. Think about those that serve to make others lives better. Think about an individual who is a safe place in which to give your thoughts or opinions. When we review the Master’s ministry, we see that the masses generally felt comfortable speaking their minds to Jesus. He was gentle with them and yet logical. He always had them reach for the best inside them. The apostles, on the other hand, Jesus was a bit more direct, a bit more firm, for these men were to be teachers. The Master knew He had not much time and did His utmost to reach through the glory-seeking selves of His apostles to the child of God, who so much desired to be a Kingdom worker.

You, that serve the Teaching Mission, have experienced lessons that are probably a bit more difficult than the average mortals. This is a serious post you hold. You have dedicated yourselves to the responsibilities of work for the growth and betterment of the Kingdom. As you live your lives to the best of your ability to understand the will of God, you will be sought by individuals who are seeking a safe place. A place where they know they can receive the truth from a pure source–not a source seeking self-glory, but a source seeking to minister as the Master had ministered. Those that are overly emotional will probably not be sought out for advice. Those that are critical or seemingly judgmental will not be looked upon as a safe place for individuals to come to. Certainly those who embrace not integrity will not be taken seriously as a spiritual source.

You, that have done your spiritual work and are attempting to gain self-mastery, have created yourselves to be a safe place for individuals to come to–at times for advice, but most of the time people just want to be heard. They want to know they are worthwhile. They want to share in the Brotherhood. They want to be a part of something. You, my friends, are accepting a ministry that is not easy, but certainly educational and always joy-filled.

Remember the story of the Master who came upon a man who was yelling at his wife. Remember the Master’s charm He used to subdue the man’s temper. The man found Jesus to be a safe place to vent and receive understanding and receive possibilities on various solutions to handle his problems without emotional outbursts. Had the Master gone in and defended the woman by degrading the man—how would the outcome have been different? It wouldn’t have helped that couple to become better as people, no. There would have only been further argument and resentment.

The Master is a prime example of a safe place in which to unload your burdens, express your thoughts and feelings and to be your true selves without worry of repercussions. The Master will always minister to you with complete honesty and love, without any ego stroking or fluff that has hurt feelings. You are ambassadors. You have dedicated yourselves to a Correcting Time ministry. You will receive instructions and be expected to be a safe place for your fellows to express themselves.

Closing

You have a couple weeks for this lesson to take meaning in your lives. Be observant. Be at ease. Know that the Master goes before you. The Mother lights your path. The Father sustains you in all things. Know my love is growing for you, as is my gratitude to Father for being with you. Go in peace. Until next time, shalom.
