UNKNOWN: Patience is an attribute most readily spoken of in spiritual circles. We honor you for wanting to cultivate this attribute more deeply in your mind and being. Patience is a type of fortitude which will protect you in times when life becomes overwhelming and where you desire a certain outcome readily and without haste.
Patience is not for the weak hearted, it is for the strong. Patience and forbearance as are the hallmarks of a life lived in pursuit of the greatest good rather than your own selfish good. Selfish pursuits seek immediate gain and fail to consider the myriad of others who stand to benefit.
Patience and forbearance are the hallmarks of a life lived with the intention of serving the greater good. The greater good always takes time to consider and discern, and what is impatiently desired is rarely given the time for that consideration.
You must cultivate patience so that your life looses its edge. That constant hum of nervous energy constantly waiting for something to happen is a kind of mental noise that drowns out the ability to hear what is being asked of you. You fail to see the bigger picture when you are caught up in impatience. Take a step back, breathe in the now, and allow yourself to be shown what is happening that is serving the greater good. As you cultivate patience in each moment life takes on calm and peace.
