FAQ9- Machiventa on, “The Dark Night of the Soul” Q&A

2021-09-04. FAQ9 – Machiventa on, “The Dark Night of the Soul” Q&A

General Q&A

S: Good evening Machiventa. We have some questions from BMS.

Machiventa: This is Machiventa. I’ll be glad take your questions.

S:  Okay, You’re the first one I thought of. How are you this evening?

Machiventa:  Good. I’m just fine. I love to be here with you all. This is a real joy for me, so it’s my pleasure, thank you.

S:  Likewise. So we received a question through BMS and it has to do with a mindal state referred to as, “The dark night of the Soul”. I provided this petitioner with some prior information that you communicated with another TR a few years ago but the explanation was insufficient to his needs and understanding. We have several questions from this person so I’d like to address them one at a time and perhaps add some other follow-up questions as they arise pertaining to this topic of “The Dark Night of the Soul”, if you have no objections.

Machiventa:  I have no objections.

Questions 1). The first question is, “Is the ‘Dark Night of the Soul’ real and if so what is it? And what is its purpose?

Machiventa:  “The Dark Night of the Soul” is very real for those who experience it. The purpose is that when somebody comes to a point where they really have no idea what to do and everything looks dark and they don’t see any glimmer of light or a way to move forward and they just feel really stuck, it gives them an opportunity to go within and reach deeper and hopefully connect with a part of the spirit within them. This does not always happen and it can be a very, long and difficult and painful process but basically the purpose of that is to get somebody to the point where they go beyond everything they can possibly understand and every approach that they know and hopefully this will open them up to something new, give them a new glimmer of something that will be their spirit that they will find and this will lead them out into the light.

S: Is this part of a detachment from material or materiality to more spirituality? – to find that purpose because they don’t find it in the material world?

Machiventa:  They’re never going to find it in the material world.

S: I know that but what I mean was, do they lose faith in the material world that they’ve given so much value and purpose to and now they’re disillusioned by the hollowness and emptiness? Maybe that is what makes for them to go in inward into this dark space?

Machiventa:  Yes, because they see nowhere else to go.

S: Is it part of a disillusionment in this reality that they’ve created for themselves, would that be a fair statement?

Machiventa:  The disillusionment of what they created leaves them feeling totally empty and with nowhere to go.

S: So in a sense they have paved the pathway to that dark area themselves through this illusion.

Machiventa:  Right.

Question 2). Question 2 states, “What are we meant to gain from this experience?”

Machiventa:  What you’re meant to gain from this experience is to find the spirit within?

S: Is this to find that connection with your TA or just finding spiritual self? …or both?

Machiventa:  The state that you’re describing provides an opening to the TA to reach this person.

Question 3). Question 3 states, “Does everyone have to go through this experience?”

Machiventa:  No, absolutely not.

Question 4). Next question is,I’ve heard it referred to by another celestial teacher as this being a less real state of being. Is this the same thing as spiritual death In that case?”

Machiventa:  No, spiritual death. No, because there never is spiritual death. Spirit never dies. It’s not a less real state of being. That’s the state of being you are in at that moment.

Question 5).  Next question is, “Is it a normal process that you must go through or something to be concerned about?”

Machiventa:  It’s not a normal process that you must go through. It is something that alerts you that something needs to be done.

S:  And what would be the thing that you’d want to address or that needs to be done? Would that be more introspection? Personal evaluation or a life review? Does it include prayer?

Machiventa:  Sincerely asking for help from the highest source you know with a sincere desire to receive help from the highest being you know is a request and a prayer and that’s what needs to be done. That being said, it doesn’t need to be done but that’s the best thing to do to get out of that situation.

Question 6).  The last question as stated is, “In my case, it seems desired that I let go of the past and don’t look back at it ever again. However, I feel that by doing this, I am being unfair to those I have wronged in the past. How are we meant to make certain events in our lives as if they never were?  And then there’s a part B to that in which the question continues, “I could be wrong. But it seems like everything from my past has been predetermined to be resolved and it is desired that I move on now, but I don’t understand how this could be and that has me stuck.”

Machiventa:  LOL. That’s mouthful. It’s always a good thing to let go of the past. However, it’s also very important to remember the past because these are lessons that you carry forward. So, when you’re letting go of the past, …when you’re letting go … what you’re letting go is all the feelings and emotions and attachments to it, but you’re not letting go of the knowledge of what has happened because you can use that knowledge to move forward in much better ways.

S: Ok that was the 1st part of that long question. I broke it up to answer easier. The 2nd part is, “However, I feel that by doing this, the letting go and not looking back, I’m looking at this as being unfair to those I have wronged in the past.”

Machiventa:  Actually, when you don’t let go you are tightly holding onto all those things that you feel you did wrong or wrongly did to others. This is a judgment. This is a judgment that you’re not able to make and it holds you back because you’re burdening yourself with feelings of guilt for things that are not appropriate?

S: Would you say forgiveness as an act of giving yourself forgiveness or to ask for forgiveness from those whom you feel you have wronged – would that be a good course action?

Machiventa:  By letting go and forgetting these actions you are forgiving yourself and this in and of itself will free you to move forward.

S: Approaching the person you think you’re wronged and apologizing wouldn’t be an action that this person would need to take?

Machiventa:  That’s not an action that needs to taken? The approach is within themselves.

Question 7). Next part of that question is, “How are we meant to make certain events in our lives as if they never were?”

Machiventa:  You’re not meant to do that. That’s how you learn. If you didn’t make mistakes you wouldn’t be doing anything. You wouldn’t be learning anything.

Question 8). Last question part says, “I could be wrong, but it seems like everything from my past has been determined to be resolved. And is it desired that I move on now? I don’t understand how this could be and that has me stuck.”

Machiventa:  It is not necessary for you to understand. What is necessary is for you to do is to ask for help to know how to move forward in your life for your highest good, and ask to be shown this in whatever ways that you are able to understand and to receive this information and for you to open yourself to its coming into you in any way, aside from what you believe will be the way, and open yourself to receive answers, wherever they may come from. Whether it’s a sentence in a book, a statement in a movie, somebody on the street that says something to you or a sign on a bus. You’re looking to go within to find out how you can become who you are to help you move forward in ways that are for your highest & best good and interest. When your desire becomes really strong within you and you continually asked to be shown and ask for help, what you’re seeking will become known to you. It is this ‘Dark Night of the Soul’ that puts someone in this position that they start to really reach out and ask and plead for help to enable them to see the best way for them to proceed forward and it will come to you.

Thank them for asking these questions and remind them that those who ask, receive.

S: That’s your personal message to them?

Machiventa:  Yes it is.

S: Thank you Machiventa for your time. Good night.

Machiventa:  You’re welcome. It’s wonderful that I get to speak directly to these people who have questions. I am very pleased. Good night.
