Session
Opening

I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. You are a group filled with so much life. I am honored to be a part of that. As I look around the room I see so much talent, so many gifts to be offered. If you really thought about it, you would see each individual specializes in some social skill. As we move throughout the ministry we will find ourselves with tasks that call for us to use our talents. In such a diverse world we can find ourselves with many social frustrations. Man is still learning how to relate. As he evolves, behavior must also evolve. It is all really an exercise in tolerance.

Lesson

I am MARY, again, it is a joy to be among you. I am moving throughout the Mission and I can see how so many avenues have sprung forth. During this Correcting Time we will address so many issues and a great deal of individuals need training and direction.

I had always admired the Master for His values in education. He was well traveled and understood the mortal personality like no other. He was so adaptable to any situation. He was always Himself, of course, but He could relate with the very poor or the very prestigious. He had a love for people that came from the Father. He could always see an individual as a child, who was in need of some serious learning or one who was making great effort and meeting with confusion. The Master had not focus upon Himself, there is no question, but He did have a balanced sense of self-worth. With this balanced sense, He could sit among kings or lepers and feel at home. He was always one of ‘the people.’ The Master had a genuine interest in others and therefore, He would always ask them questions that would draw out the best in them.

As I move through the cities of many countries, I find intolerance to be rampant. It is a fast-paced world and so easy to forget about one of the greatest commandments, which was to love one another. Evolution has brought about blended families and great opportunity or challenges to learn cosmic citizenry. The Master set such a wonderful example of treating a stranger exactly how He would a family member. In His mind, through the Father’s eyes, we are all family, souls having come from a cosmic source and going forward as a force, gathering experience to feed our Supreme Being. We all know the Master was talented at many things and His talents can easily be your own. To have tolerance within the world, one must start being tolerant. You cannot leave it up to somebody else or point the blame at their intolerance. Somebody must start. Somebody must accept the fact that we are all related–soul-wise.

I know for myself, I had immeasurable intolerance against the opposing gender. I know that I had personal work to do to change my thinking toward being open to greater understanding. I will not go into detail, but I can say that there were experiences placed right in front of my face so that I may learn healing and different skills to interact with the object of my anger. As the Master taught, I could see these individuals as a child, who was not intending to inflict pain, but simply trying to learn. It was not my place to judge their level of advancement, no. It was my place to love the child. That was enough foundation for me to begin to build tolerance.

Closing

Every day there are situations before you that might be of great value in learning tolerance. Your task would be to turn off the nagging mind and be observant. What message is there right in front of you? That is all. It has been an enjoyable evening and I am again inspired to carry on. From Abraham and myself, we bid you shalom.
