Opening
ABRAHAM: I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. It is good to be with you. I am filled with gratitude for this branch of our family tree. This evening I am seeing a measure of courage that reaches the stars. I see you as growing individuals who are more and more every day daring to step out of a well worn pattern into a new life. I experience this with various individuals who live life within the Kingdom family. You, as striving mortals, are moving toward living life as if it is eternal. Today is only the beginning. Every day is a new chance to progress.
MARY: I am MARY. My greetings to you, brothers and sisters. I am in understanding of Abraham’s message to exert the limits of your current mindset. I am taken back to a time in the market square, where I felt invisible. It was difficult for me to make eye contact with people. My experience had naturally made me suspicious. Anyone’s attention toward me made me filled with anxiety. This was such a well worn mindal pattern.
Lesson
MARY: It took many hours sitting among my fellows listening to the Master teach. He was repetitious to a point and yet, each word from His mouth was a treasure to keep. Jesus had on many occasions asked us questions that were really quite personal. This helped me to turn inward and observe my pattern and figure out the origination. The Master proved that practice and some mindal repetition is helpful in creating new connections in the brain. Change is slow and sometimes frustrating, but the Master proved it to be true that an old dog can learn new tricks.
I first began by trying to make eye contact with individual. I uncovered my head and made my face plain to see. I had to accept that I was one of Father’s own. I had nothing to be ashamed of, for I was always making effort, always putting forth my best. After I became somewhat used to making eye contact, I began to put forth greetings. I gave greeting to the wealthy, as well as the poor.
This exercise helped to create a new pathway in my brain that would help me to rise up out of my rut. It was exciting to view myself on the path to growth. As I put forth the effort in my little exercise, I began to really feel the joy in meeting people. I made new friendships that were nourishing to my soul. As I felt more of a part of the Kingdom family, I felt more free to move about, to move beyond myself.
Closing
MARY: This week let us ponder the changes we can make in creating new patterns. It is true that Michael clears our way and Father holds our hand. We can all see how society has become a slave to one thing or another. How are we a part of that and how can we change it? What is the first small step you can take toward breaking old habits? You are indeed a joy, my friends. Our minds and hearts are with you during this time of Michael’s birthday on your universally recognized planet. Know that our love is growing for you each always. Go in peace. Until next time, from Abraham and myself, we bid you shalom.
