Opening
ABRAHAM: I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. I am grateful to view your reliance upon faith. I am grateful for your open-mindedness and how you allow the message to unfold. It becomes more apparent as you advance in the spirit that you are strengthened to do things you have never even thought of doing before.
Lesson
ABRAHAM: This past lesson we were working towards renewing our relationship with Christ. We can see how many situations in daily living would create great upset for you and you have each learned to look within, look at the larger picture and rally your emotions. As we become closer to the Spirit of Truth we are assigned new tasks that would cause us some angst.
As you further your spiritual education, Father does indeed set up new operations for you to experience. With each experience we draw closer to Father and our Spirit of Truth. When we study the apostles can we not see how they were strengthened over time? I can say that many of them accomplished great things. They helped a great many people.
The world is ever changing and I promise you, if I was in the flesh today I would be quite nervous. You have so much to absorb and interpret and to act upon. I can understand your hesitation to take up new things. When I say new things, I mean taking the initiative to right some small wrong. Help somebody in some small act of kindness. Perhaps you have repetitive thoughts of getting involved in some community function and fight with that thought as it comes.
You Teaching Mission participants are going to have assignments if you want them. Your desire to do the right thing is a part of the Spirit of Truth. It is a live connection into overcoming fear and gaining strength. We can remember the water coming up on the beach and only daring to wet our feet, feeling fearful of what cannot be seen. The connection with our Brother/Father, former man and Creator Son, is a source of love and comfort, but above all that, He is pure logic.
We can understand the experience of the apostles working side by side with the Master and learning His ways. The apostles were only with Jesus a short time, but in that time they certainly grew up spiritually and mentally. Having known the Master, they could take on much more than they could actually envision for themselves. Father may assign you tasks to complete, but the Master actually empowers you to get the job done. Many times in mortal life we must be beside ourselves, looking at life through the eyes of an observer and understand all these annoyances, irritations and instances of injustice are supposed to be. This is the mortal experience, like it or not. We can do all things in Him who gives us strength.
Closing
ABRAHAM: This week again spend time with Michael and be conscious of your thoughts of newness or desires to do good. Know that many times the Master requires your assistance and He gives you what you need to take on any task. Look over these past years and see how your levels of fear have diminished and how your courage has increased. I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me. That is all. I am with appreciation for you, dear ones. Mary sends her regards and we both send you with our love. Until next time, shalom.
