Opening
ABRAHAM: I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. It is always a happy time for me to meet with you and find out how you are on the path of life. I am grateful for Father shining His knowledgeable light upon the dark places of the soul. It is understandable that once mortals begin to move on in years, old habits become hard to break. This Correcting Time enables us to see those things about ourselves that we could not see before and therefore, could not work on it.
Lesson
ABRAHAM: It is true that each individual will have time to correct any and all flaws, especially once passed from the material body. With the Correcting Time it is possible to dissect those individual flaws that create the feeling of stagnation. Every week when we meet we are asking Father to look at us, show us what He sees and what He wants for us. There may be several issues to face before we are equipped to handle some Mission task. Father will then bring out those issues and show us where to start.
MARY: I am MARY. Greetings to you, friends. It is always an honor to spend time with you. In this particular lesson I was taken back to my mortal life when I was with the realization that my experience up until a certain point taught me mistrust. It was difficult to trust those individuals I could see with my eyes, could you imagine the issues I had to work out with Father and those I couldn’t see?
My mistrust of people led me to have difficulties continuing on with Mission tasks. I was not a very good listener because I was afraid of what I would hear and therefore, I did all the talking. That was not very helpful in the Master’s ministry, but it was very helpful in my own spiritual advancement. I had to face the difficult issues of why I had very little trust for others. I prayed for this healing and Father showed me exactly what I needed to know, even though it was ugly and painful.
Many times we ask for a healing of some sort and find that the process of getting there is unpleasant. Sometimes, devoting one-self to total healing calls for some lessons that are uncomfortable. In our discomfort we struggle from time to time, but always can we find Father with His definitions, meanings and values. Through His observations we can envision those steps we can take to find correction.
With my own issues, I had memories of being a small child and being disappointed by adults. I had an armor of mistrust that first appeared to protect me. I could not feel disappointment over and over again because I would not ever get that close to anyone. This internal thought had interfered with my ability to minister in the Mission. Once I set aside my childish feelings I could see how intelligent Father was and the lessons He gave me were perfect.
Father always enables us to do our best. Don’t let a meter of joy or sadness tell you whether or not a lesson is valuable. The majority of our personal lessons will be uncomfortable. Once we feel a part of the co-creating team with Father, then do the levels of discomfort equalize and our understanding is accelerated.
Closing
MARY: This is all for this week, my friends. If you should so desire next week we can take questions. Until then be not afraid to see through Father’s eyes and allow Him to bestow upon you His intellect. It is always with gratitude that we can gather and express our love and work for the good of the whole and for the future. Go in peace. Until next time, shalom.
