Subject: “About forgiveness.”

Message received by Bettina.

Thought Adjuster: “Someone who loves also forgives. Someone who truly loves and lives in the love of God knows that human nature involves making mistakes. There are no perfect human beings. When God ‘sent us to this world,’ He made us vulnerable and this is exactly what gives us the opportunity to change, to learn and to grow.

“So, how can a human being judge another human being who, after all, is still in a learning process? The growth processes I need to ‘forgive’ arises when my expectations about others are not met. This happens when I hope that ‘the other’ behaves in the way ‘I think’ is the right way. Everyone needs to live his or her own process of forgiveness towards himself or herself, understanding their change, growth and learning processes.

“Forgiveness, then, is related to judgment. I forgive when I judge that the other’s behavior is wrong, according to what I believe, according to my frame of reference, my expectations and my experiences — my own story. If you stop judging, you will no longer have a reason to forgive.

“Live your transformation process and leave others to live theirs.

“God, in His infinite love, does not judge us. So, do not judge yourself and do not judge others.

“That is the true unconditional love.

“Peace is hidden behind this ‘judgment.’ If you stop judging, you will find peace.

“And so be it.”
