Session
Opening

ABRAHAM:  I am ABRAHAM. Greetings, I am delighted to see you this evening. I am always honored to witness you in your best form. Your social comfort here is obvious. How blessed are we to jump upon this never-ending circle of eternity and always keep retuning to each other. The mortal mind is most healthy when it can socialize and build upon ideas. How wonderful to have this spiritual commonality with each other. We know that the world can appear to be in total chaos and we can always return to speak with one another and find our foundation of faith. Over the past few years I have spoke a great deal on rest and removal from stress. As we delve more into self-mastery we will learn more about discipline. Discipline has been a dirty word to many because they thought it was Father who was the disciplinarian. When reaching for self-mastery we learn that discipline is a loving action.

MARY:  I am MARY, my greetings to you, brothers and sisters. As Abraham mentioned, I also enjoy the feeling of family here among you. I can tell you that the topic of self-discipline was also one of confusion for me and something that I fought. When you learn of this subject, you find that it is nothing more then   organization in mind.

Lesson

MARY: Much of my time in the flesh was spent feeling like I was a victim in a randomly occurring life. Everything appeared to be an obstacle. Even a simple trip to the market would become a battle. My disorganization in mind damaged my self-esteem and it would seem as if life itself was my enemy.
Of course, disorganization in mind stems from life experience, but when you grow older and have opportunity to learn, then hopefully your eyes and heart will be open. Especially those who study the spirit life should realize that Father gives you those lessons that will draw you ever nearer to Him.
The Master showed me a great deal when He made me feel a part of the ministry, the group. I was no more, no less than a citizen within the Kingdom. My experience at that time helped me to learn certain lessons that created some order within my mind.

Even a child learns if you touch a hot stove you will get burned. The experience in the ministry was a great teacher to show me how to maneuver through everyday life. Life was a clean slate and much of what I perceived could now be filtered through a mind that was a little more organized. So many times I had wanted to fall back to the ways of old. Many times I felt weak and wanted to lie down before my troubles. The lessons I took from the Master’s hours of teachings were to tell me to allow the strong voice of Father within telling me to get up, keep going, do not stop, do not allow the animal to prevail. You are a child of God and that is all the power you will ever need.

Closing

MARY: This week allow yourself some quiet time. Take in strength. Allow not your emotions to make you feel like an overrun victim. What exercises are there that can contribute to organization in mind, stillness perhaps, maybe some journaling, maybe some simplifying? We cannot take questions this evening. That is all for this evening. Know that our love is ever strengthening for each one of you. Go in peace. Until next time, shalom.
