Opening
ABRAHAM: I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. Indeed, a beautiful display of brotherly love here this evening. I enjoy the fact that you all feel comfortable together and are at ease to speak your minds. I am honored to be your teacher and friend. You have shown me the many ways the world has changed. Through you I am able to make sense of what my eyes see in the world. I know you each have your opinions, but I can tell you that I benefit from your willingness to share.
Lesson
ABRAHAM: Some days I will spend an entire day with one of my students. I am fortunate to see with the student’s eyes exactly what they are seeing. This knowledge helps me to become a more balanced teacher and I can at least have experienced a little of what I teach. You each help beyond your understanding, because you help us to see the ever-changing realities within the world. I am so happy you each do not allow the world to break your spirit, but to build it up. We can each see how important time is to the experiencing soul, meaning that we must experience many lessons before we can truly understand them.
Your spiritual education and mortal experience on this world is not just about working and enduring. It is also about having joy and love. When you go off each day to your job, you can be filled with negative hesitation for the outlook on the day. The work seems to be monotonous and some wish to merely push time forward so it can be over with. The student of the Master would find their employment to also be a ministry and source of joy. For example, when you were each school children, recess was practically the favorite time of day. It was when you got to socialize and play. This balanced feeling of happiness helps you to cope with the difficulties of the day.
When you are conscious of your ministry there will be a great many opportunities that pass by you and no, it doesn’t take much effort, but it does bring to your mind an extra reason to make your job as pleasant as possible. Anytime you leave your home really, there are always possibilities for the ministry tasks. We should be reaching the point where we have not to make effort concerning this outlook on daily adventures. It should be simply part of daily living.
MARY: I am MARY. Greetings to you, my friends. Having spent so many hours with the Master, I even began to look at my life as a service for the ministry. I mean I had my daily chores to accomplish, but they were secondary compared to the mission tasks. I mean not to say that I thought of my work lightly, no. I mean to say that I found the mission tasks in daily living to take up great importance. My life was not simply about me. No. I had learned to be open to the ministry tasks at hand. I began to look forward to running off to do my daily chores because I would always have opportunity to do something for Father as well. A trip to the market was not simply mindless shopping, no.
I found it to be a social source of joy and a provider of mission opportunities. We have to think to ourselves as we are leaving our homes to begin the day that our ministry is in full force and we have been assigned tasks that will help to enlarge the Kingdom and move us closer to Light and Life. We would each do well to wake each day with a prayer of gratitude and commit ourselves to making positive things happen. You have probably noticed by now that others feel at ease around you, to open their hearts and minds to you. This is a sure sign that you allow Father His place in your life. Individuals will recognize your kind heart and feel that they can trust you enough to confide in you. In this you can trust yourself enough to be a conduit for Father’s words.
Closing
MARY: So, you see, work is not really work. Life is not just life. Your training helps you to be a good example of the living gospel. Your willingness to welcome us and others are also helpful in the fact that you are keeping us up to date and that keeps our lessons fresh. We thank you for accepting this responsibility and promise to be by your side as you carry onward to Light and Life. We will stop there. Know that Abraham and myself take great joy in talking with you, knowing about you and working with you. The future not only looks exciting, it feels exciting. Again, our love goes with you always. Go in peace. Until next time, shalom.
